The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is dredging the water channel on Jalan Menteng Pualan, RT 04/RW05 Pasar Manggis Urban Village, Setiabudi.
Setiabudi Sub-district SDA Sub-agency Executing Unit Head Yansori said, to conduct it, as many as four personnel had been alerted to the location.

He explained the channel as long as 250 meter and 1 meter width was dredged to 25-30 centimeters depth.
By doing so, the channel was expected to optimally accommodate water during the rainy season in order to minimize flooding around Jalan Menteng Pualan.
"It is targeted to be complete by the end of this month," he stated.
